Job Description
Youth for Integrity Building (YIB), with support from Leading Well Network, is seeking Youth Facilitators to support the implementation of Kilifi Youth Dialogues 2.0, a youth-led initiative creating safe, inclusive, and accountable spaces for youth to engage leaders and strengthen civic participation in Kilifi County. The project revives and strengthens monthly youth dialogues through an innovative model that blends peer-to-peer learning, intergenerational wisdom-sharing, and Ubuntu values, addressing social justice, integrity, governance, and youth leadership.

Job Summary
- Youth Facilitators will lead and support inclusive dialogue sessions across Kilifi County, ensuring meaningful engagement, documentation, and accountability. Facilitators will serve as the backbone of the dialogues, mobilizing youth, guiding discussions, and tracking outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitation & Dialogue Support
- Co-facilitate structured dialogue sessions with youth, leaders, elders, and marginalized groups.
- Encourage participation, active listening, and respectful exchange of ideas.
- Support peer-to-peer learning and intergenerational discussions.
- Accountability & Scorecard Tracking
- Assist in administering the Accountability Scorecard during each dialogue.
- Track commitments made by participants and ensure follow-up in subsequent sessions.
- Documentation & Digital Storytelling
- Capture key quotes, photos, and short videos for reporting and amplification.
- Compile session notes and contribute to the Youth Dialogue Report.
- Community Engagement & Mobilization
- Support outreach and recruitment of youth participants.
- Help maintain inclusivity, ensuring participation of women, PWDs, and marginalized groups.
Who Should Apply
- Youth aged 18–35 years, residing in Kilifi County.
- Passionate about governance, social justice, integrity, and community leadership.
- Proven experience in facilitation, community engagement, or youth mobilization is an added advantage.
- Willing to commit to training sessions and all dialogue events.
- Proof of participation in previous Kilifi Youth Dialogues (phase one) is an added advantage.
- Affiliation with any youth groups or CSOs in Kilifi County is an added advantage.
- Commit to ensure sustainability of the project interventions beyond project closure.
