WORKSHOP MANAGERKey Responsibilities
  1. Strategic & Operational Leadership
  • Develop and implement workshop strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee maintenance, repairs, overhauls, and fabrication planning.
  • Improve efficiency, productivity, and turnaround times.
  • Establish KPIs and monitor performance.
2. Financial Oversight
  • Control labor, spare parts, and contractor costs.
  • Approve procurement for tools and equipment.
  • Monitor asset utilization and lifecycle management.
3. Technical Governance
  • Ensure compliance with technical standards and best practices.
  • Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Approve complex repair solutions and ensure quality control.
4. People Management
  • Lead and supervise workshop teams.
  • Drive performance management and skills development.
  • Enforce productivity and accountability standards.
5. Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Promote a zero-incident safety culture.
  • Conduct audits and risk assessments.
6. Stakeholder Coordination
  • Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Fleet teams.
  • Provide technical reports and support audits.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
  • 6–9 years workshop experience, including 3+ years in management.
  • Strong knowledge of fleet/equipment maintenance systems.
