Job Summary
- The Technical Intern will assist with field installations, equipment retrieval, and customer support, primarily for SME and enterprise clients. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality service delivery, maintaining customer satisfaction, and supporting both technical and sales teams in achieving operational and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installations and maintenance for SME/Enterprise clients
- Track and manage installation orders to support revenue objectives
- Provide regular updates and reports on project progress
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal design teams
- Test and commission equipment after installation
- Adhere to safety standards and operational guidelines
- Offer support during technical emergencies when required
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in ISP field installations
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Customer-oriented with good technical and organizational skills
- Ability to ride a motorbike with a valid license is an added advantage
