Senior Associate, Dispute Resolution

They are seeking to fill the following position:
SENIOR ASSOCIATE, DISPUTE RESOLUTION (MOMBASA)

• An LL.B Degree with at least Second Class Upper Division from a recognized university – a masters and other relevant courses would be an added advantage.
• Be actively practicing with a valid current practicing certificate.
• At least Five (5) years of relevant post-admission experience in a reputable law firm.
• Proven ability to manage client matters independently, including supervision of junior lawyers.
• Demonstrated experience handling and managing complex civil, commercial, and constitutional litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution matters.
• In-depth understanding of court procedures, case strategy development, and evidence management.
• Strong advocacy experience before superior courts and tribunals.
• Ability to manage client portfolios, develop litigation strategies, and lead case teams effectively.
• Excellent legal drafting, research, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as client centricity.
• Proven ability to build and maintain appropriate strong and authentic relationships with internal firm partners, co-counsel and opposing counsel.
• Passionate and enthusiastic about the law and its developments.
• Possess a reputation for the highest ethical standards and integrity.
