Kwacha Afrika is a youth-focused NGO based in Mombasa, Kenya, dedicated to empowering young people and communities along the coast. Since 2000, the organization has championed leadership, creativity, and social justice through impactful programs that inspire transformation and sustainable change. Kwacha Afrika is unlocking raw talent and transforming it into dignified creative livelihoods through the Sanaa Kipawa Initiative a groundbreaking 12-month project that will equip 150 young people (especially women and persons with disabilities) with market-ready skills in Film, Theatre, and the Audio-Visual value chain.We are recruiting passionate and skilled individuals to join our team in implementing this transformative program:

How to Apply
- Project Coordinator – Full Time
- The Project Coordinator will lead the planning, mobilization, and daily execution of all project activities, ensuring smooth delivery and impactful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate training, mentorship, and creative showcases.
- Mobilize youth participants in Kisauni, Likoni, Nyali, and Jomvu.
- Track progress of 6 cohorts, mentorships, and equipment upgrades.
- Ensure 70% youth and women participation, and promote inclusion of persons with disabilities.
- Document and report project milestones and success stories.
- Represent Kwacha Afrika in creative and stakeholder networks.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of project coordination experience (preferably in youth or creative programs).
- Finance & Grants Officer – Full Time
- Responsible for maintaining financial accountability and ensuring donor compliance throughout the project cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project budgets, procurement files, payroll, and receipts.
- Prepare and submit donor-compliant financial reports.
- Ensure financial controls for cash disbursement, stipends, and reimbursements.
- Support project audits and financial close-out activities.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in NGO financial management.
