Job Description

Galana Teachers Training College is a Public Teacher Training College located in Kilifi County, Magarini Sub-County, Magarini ward. It is 19.1km Northwest of Malindi town. 
Galana TTC is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the following positions:

1. Procurement Officer
2. Accounts Clerk
3. Cook

PROCUREMENT OFFICER (1 POST), JOB GROUP FMinimum Qualifications

• Be a Kenyan Citizen
• Have at least a KCSE grade of D+ 
• Minimum of a Diploma in Supply Chain Management from a recognized institution
• Be conversant with the Public Procurement & Disposal Act, 2019
• Be computer literate
• Be of high integrity, able to demonstrate exemplary performance and can work with minimal supervision
• Experience of at least 3 years in a similar larger organization & preferably in an Educational institution
• A valid certificate of good conduct will be required when successful
• Registration with KISM
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010

ACCOUNTS CLERK (1 POST) JOB GROUP E

• Be a Kenyan Citizen
• Diploma in Accountancy or ATD 3 or CPA Intermediate level
• Have at least a KCSE grade of D+ 
• Proficient in computer applications
• Should have excellent computer skills and demonstrate good working knowledge of accounting packages and financial systems
• Age 20 - 35 Years
• Conversant with IPSAS
• A valid certificate of good conduct will be required when successful
• Experience of at least 3 years in a similar larger organization & preferably in an Educational institution

Cook (1 POST) JOB GROUP A

• A person must have attained D (Plain) and above in KCSE
• Must be medically fit
• Must have experience for at least 2 years cooking in a learning institution
• Food handlers certificate
• A valid certificate of good conduct will be required when successful
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010
