Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. If you thrive in a moderately busy environment and take pride in delivering high-quality desserts and baked goods, we’d love to hear from you.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years’ professional pastry experience, preferably within hotels, restaurants, or reputable bakeries
- Previous experience as Pastry Chef de Partie, Senior Pastry Chef de Partie, or Pastry Sous Chef in a moderately busy kitchen
- Strong knowledge of classic pastry, basic bakery production, cakes, plated desserts, and buffet presentation
- Ability to manage daily pastry production, maintain consistency, and meet service timelines
- Demonstrated ability to supervise junior kitchen staff and work effectively within a team
- Good understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to control costs, minimize wastage, and manage inventory efficiently
