Decorative Retail Sales Associate- Mombasa

Jotun Kenya Limited, which began operations in 2014 and has since grown steadily with a vibrant team, warehouse, and sales office, is expanding its footprint in the Kenyan market. As part of our commitment to innovation, efficiency, and sustainable growth, we are seeking a motivated Decorative Retail Sales Associate to join our Mombasa team. This is a one-year guided apprenticeship, ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of Jotun’s Decorative segment. You will play an active role in increasing product visibility, developing customer relationships, and spotting opportunities that can drive our business forward. The role is based in Mombasa and reports directly to the Area Sales Manager.
What the Role Involves

• Exploring Mombasa and surrounding areas to identify new sales opportunities that expand our presence and market share.
• Showcasing and promoting our premium Decorative products through client visits, product demos, and consistent follow-ups.
• Responding to customer inquiries professionally using Jotun’s recommended tools and guidelines.
• Carrying out market research, gathering competitor insights, and preparing informative proposals or presentations.
• Working closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive seamless service and exceptional experiences.

Who We’re Looking For

• A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Up to one year of experience in field sales—especially in the construction sector—is an advantage.
• An excellent communicator with a genuine passion for relationship-building.
• Proactive, energetic, and excited to represent premium products.
• Currently living in Mombasa and fully authorized to work in Kenya.
